Grit: A personality trait by individuals showing passion and perseverance toward a goal. Possessing a relentless, unbreakable and indomitable spirit when faced with challenge. We are the runners out there getting it done, no matter the weather, time of day, or current situation, we lace up and step out. These miles are not going to run themselves and when the going get’s tough, the tough go running. It’s not always pretty and far from perfect. But we run! We are the fast runners, slow runners, and the runners in between. We come in all shapes, sizes and abilities. We are new runners. We are veteran runners. We are the lone runners, but sometimes like to run in packs. We are the runners training for our first 5K, and the runners completing our first ultra. We run for better health. We run to find sanctuary. We run for the love of the sport.
